Former Liverpool goalkeeper Tim Howard is ready to do whatever it takes to lure Jurgen Klopp to manage the United States national team.
The US team had a disappointing performance in the Copa America they hosted. But were eliminated in the group stage. Despite winning the opening game against Bolivia. They lost their last two games against Panama and Uruguay, leading to Gregg Berhalter being fired from his position UFABET
That has made Klopp a target for management since he left Liverpool at the end of last season. And Howard is ready to do everything to make it happen.
“My idea is simple: he has a young team that can develop, can progress – like Liverpool, in two years’ time he will have the chance to compete in the biggest World Cup in history,” Howard said.
“I’m happy to help my country in any way I can, happy to serve. So if I was in charge of US Soccer, I’d be at the airport right away,”
“Why not? I believe I can negotiate with Jurgen Klopp to take over as United States manager.”
“After the disappointment of the Copa America. After the US lost to Uruguay and were eliminated in the group stage, I will personally fly to Spain, I will do that,”
